CSLP selected dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology as the 2026

2026 Slogan: Unearth a Story

The CSLP 2026 theme, featuring dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology, has us buzzing with excitement! There’s truly no better topic to ignite a child’s curiosity and spark their imagination. Dinosaurs once roamed the Earth, leaving behind fossil evidence that tells their incredible stories. These majestic creatures captivate everyone, but they also hold many mysteries. Which was the biggest dinosaur? The smallest? How long ago did they walk the Earth? Were they reptiles or early birds? Did humans ever share the planet with them? And most intriguingly, how did they all become extinct? These questions open up a world of wonder and discovery for young explorers.

The Art of Storytelling and the Art of Magic

Magic Tea Entertainment has some fantastic ideas for creating engaging characters and captivating plots centered around this enchanting theme. During the show, an audience member will be chosen to become an archaeologist and travel back in time to ancient Egypt, with a special magic prop designed for children to perform the magic themselves. Interestingly, this particular trick is one of the earliest documented illusions, dating back nearly 500 years.

Additionally, a paleontologist segment will involve a child dressed up and tasked with finding a hidden dinosaur inside a “shuffled” bag. The dinosaurs are selected randomly from the audience, but with the aid of magic, the young paleontologist will have an extra edge.

Children will actively participate and learn by acting out parts of the story, making the experience both educational and fun. There will also be a friendly, goofy dinosaur puppet providing comedic relief to keep the atmosphere lively.

Plans are underway to introduce a custom puppet focused on magic and storytelling, adding even more wonder to the performance. With so many creative ideas, it promises to be an incredible, fun-filled adventure for everyone involved.
